High-Resolution Audio is high-quality sound that far exceeds CD standards and can play 192kHz/24bit audio files. It captures and beautifully expresses details and nuances from the ultra-high to low frequencies. Both CD and Hi-Res Audio are digitized versions of the actual sound; Hi-Res Audio is able to digitize and store the sound in more detail than CD, so the waveform of the sound is closer to the original sound. To enable a smarter driving experience, this receiver features 3 camera inputs allowing the utmost in convenience, flexibility, and safety. With 3 camera inputs, you can connect a front camera or a KENWOOD dashboard camera (DRV-N520 sold separately), rear and side (blind spot) cameras. Alternatively, 3 camera inputs can support several other configurations, including the connection of 2 side cameras, a front camera or a reverse camera. Setting of camera type and display switching between the 3 cameras can be operated easily via the receiver’s large screen. AV input is assignable as 3rd camera input.

Digital Time Alignment (DTA) Unlike the speakers in a home audio system, you are not free to adjust the position of speakers in your vehicle. This restriction on the positional relationship between the speakers and listener will often result in an unnatural sound field. DTA allows you to digitally delay the closest speakers so that the sound of every speaker reaches your ears at the same time. It makes the sound move to the front top of dashboard in order to get the best stereo imaging & soundstage.

13-Band Graphic Equaliser In Preset Mode, you can select one of the equaliser preset curves. Choose the User Mode to fine tune front and rear channels individually according to your preferences and compensate for tonal differences between the front and rear speakers arising from installation positions and size. Just by running your finger along the touch screen panel, the Graphic Equaliser will follow your movement to easily tune your audio settings.

Frequency settings via Low Pass Filter, Band Pass Filter & High Pass Filter, can be adjusted according to the speaker type (tweeter, mid-range or woofer).
