KENWOOD Remote Application

KENWOOD Remote is an application that connects and controls compatible KENWOOD car receivers via Bluetooth® like a wireless remote control.
Download the free app “KENWOOD Remote“. You can change audio sources or adjust audio settings like “Time Alignment” or “13-Band EQ” from your smartphone.

Front USB and AUX Input

The USB port (standard A) and the 3.5mm jack mini-jack AUX-Input, both located on the front panel, will allow you to connect various types of portable audio storage devices. These include Mass Storage Class devices like smartphones, tablets and USB flash drives. The USB input will allow you to charge and control the music playback of your select devices. Via the AUX-Input you can connect any portable digital or analog audio device that has a headphone output. For dust prevention, a slide cover has also been adopted.

Digital radio DAB+: DAB+, also known as Digital Audio Broadcasting Plus, provides crystal-clear audio quality and interference-free reception. DAB+ uses the AAC+ audio codec, which allows for greater compression without loss of audio quality and is comparable with CD audio quality. It uses a more efficient coding system to transmit digital data resulting in more stations being able to broadcast on the same frequency and allows for the delivery real time data services such as such as the station name and logo, presenter, song title and album artwork.

Sound Tuning Technology

Digital Time Alignment: Allows you to digitally delay the closest speakers so that the sound of every speaker reaches your ears at the same time. It makes the sound move to the front top of dashboard in order to get the best stereo imaging & soundstage. 13-Band Graphic Equaliser: In Preset Mode, you can select one of the equaliser preset curves. Choose the User Mode to fine tune front and rear channels individually according to your preferences and compensate for tonal differences between the front and rear speakers arising from installation positions and size. The result is a natural audio reproduction environment and enhanced listening enjoyment for you. Drive Equalizer: Road noise is the enemy of all audio systems found in vehicles. The inherent frequencies of road noise masks a wide range of the audio signal found in music, and this is the reason Kenwood engineers developed Drive EQ. Drive EQ boosts specific frequencies in the audio signal to compensate the negative impact of road noise.
