Smart Design, Powerful Performance

As the smallest amplifiers in their class in the world, KAC-X1D, KAC-X4D and KAC-X5D overcome thermal radiation issues inherent to compact amplifiers and pack powerful Kenwood technology into a small form that enables installation in tight locations previously restricted to lower performance amps. This is ideal for users who do not wish to sacrifice book space or prefer stealth installation.

 

Air Cooling

By positioning the fan in close proximity to heat producing circuitry, heat is dissipated in a timely manner. This allows the amplifier to operate at comfortable temperature levels even under the most stressful conditions.

 

Thermal Management System

Under high output, internal amp temperatures rapidly rise, and protection circuits are activated. Conventional protection systems shut down the amp to prevent damage, but Kenwood's Thermal Management System can maintain the output signal profile while detecting and suppressing the temperature increase, successfully improving uninterrupted enjoyment of music reproduction while extending the life of components.
